Today's top Headlines for: It's Friday! September 2, 2005

OMG. D00D WITH CLIPS IN HIS HAIR.
KAWAII as PHUCK.

Miss Rose gets butterflies.
Shh...don't tell anyone.

An overall interesting day, just read.

I must say, I think I got pretty good sleep today...save for the fact that I once again woke up early because I was almost cooked well-done with the amount of heat.

I dressed today keeping in mind the fact that today would be Friday...meaning that today, I'd have History and Contemporary Japanese...meaning I'd be sharing two classes with someone today.

Once again, Reimi and I walked to school in silence. She is so serious...it makes me worry.

So, Reimi saw one of her friends on the way to school, and once again, they talked, as I tagged along behind silently. I cannot wait until Reimi and I will be able to talk like that. This is why I study so hard.

So, as soon as we reached the school's door, I branched off and went into the cafeteria, purchased one of those small Kirin milk-tea things from the vending machine. As soon as I finished it, the bell rang.

See, I don't know how the bell system works in the school, and I've been going for two weeks now. When I left the cafeteria, I went to the bathroom, and went various places before the bell rang about 15 minutes later. I went to room 326, where the supposed class was, but it was completely empty. I walked around again and finally found Reimi. I asked her where our class was (thinking I may have made a mistake writing in the room number to my schedule), and I followed her until she led me to the same empty class I was wandering around.  There were a few other students waiting near the door.

So, we took our seats on the floor. Another 15 minutes or so, the bell rang again. Ikeda-sensei then appeared after several minutes later and opened the door.

We went in, but other students didn't begin to show up until several minutes later.

So, of course, I spent the entire period studying Japanese, while Ikeda-sensei talked about some history crap that I already knew fifty years ago. I also took the liberty to take quick glances at Glasses Guy's hair.

But, for the most part....I studied Japanese non-stop.

And, I did so for the next period, too. During the fifteen minute break between classes, I listened to that strange, yet addictive song that sounds kinda like a turkish beat mixed with reggae, but the dude speaks hindi. Man, I can really find some weird stuff on Ares. I love it.

Come to think of it, I just realized that the name of the song might be "Minirok"...I recognize the word in the song after I caught it credited in the name of the author. It's a remix, though.

ANYWAY, back to relevant stuff.

For the second class, I sat in the very back (as I usually) until one of the young boys that I knew claimed the seat that I sat it. I'd have to wait until Suzuki-sensei came. There was an empty seat in front of Glasses Guy that I just wanted to grab up, but when Suzuki-sensei came and Reimi asked him where I should sit, although Glasses-Guy  quietly offered the on in front of him, Suzuki-Sensei seated me in an empty chair in the back. Glasses Guy should have said it louder.

Anyway, so I wasn't very hungry during lunch, and neither did I feel like going to the cafeteria to endure the noisy students. I wanted to study some more. Somehow, it crossed my mind to ask Kiich if I could go to study in his office. Although I did think of eating, I decided to sacrifice the time to study some more. So, I went to the third floor office and found Kiich there helping another student. I waited (quite some time) until he was finished. And of course, being the cool teacher he is, I followed him to the office, where he opened the door and allowed me to go study. As I walked into the room, ready to put my stuff down at the back table, Kiich caught my attention. When I had realized what he was trying to get me to realize, I completely spazzed at the fact that I had walked so far into the room with my shoes still on.

I dropped my belongings on the floor and rushed to the front to drop off my shoes. I apologized so hard, it made him laugh, apparently.

I was so ready to study that I didn't even realize that he had also instructed me to lock the door until he said it a second or third time.

So, finally situated and had my books splashed liberally all over the place ready to study. I studied a bit, and sometimes, I'd watch as one or two people passed the room to go outside.

I continued to study until the corner of my eye noticed a tall dude with glasses and semi-long hair passing the room.

It took my brain about a nanosecond to say, "Wait, what the hell?!" and I looked up to see Glasses-Guy passing the room door along with someone else on the way outside.

And to my surprise, he saw me through the room window, too. Not only that, he retraced his step, looked into the room, smiled, and waved, and went on his way.

I think I sat there, blushing and smiling for about 10 minutes. Can't rememeber the last time I ever did shit like that.

So, for the rest of the horribly-long lunch period, I studied in silence, and happiness.

Next period: Art. I met with Chanel in the hallway, and we proceeded in the artroom where we continued on with our litle art project from the previous week. This time, we'd be working with the actual clay.

I think it took me quite a while to realize that one of the bad boys I was sitting across from had two flower-jewel pins in the front of his hair.

I CAN'T PHUCKING BELIEVE I DIDN'T GET A PICTURE OF THAT.

I can't describe how much I loved it. Believe it or not, he's one of the troublesome ones in the class.

OMG, did I ever mention the what I saw two boys doing during lunch some other day (Maybe Monday, I believe)?? No?? I must! I must!  Well, as it went, this group of bad-boys came into the cafeteria after causing some trouble upstairs (and by trouble, I mean, they were being pain in the necks by beating on the windows above us in the cafeteria, trying to get the entire cafeteria's attention...and it sure did). Well, anyway....I couldn't believe what i saw...In the middle of the cafeteria, in EVERYONE's view, one of the boys hugged one of the others from the back, and at one point, he sat back on one of the table, so that the guy he was holding sat in his lap.

I LOVE THIS PHUCKING SCHOOL.

Ahem. Not to be carried away by that...

Michael sat with us that day, too. Cute little Michael (in case you are not aware, SHE is an amazingly CUTE little Japanese girl). We ended up talking about what type of boys we liked...

I had somehow said that I love guys with long hair. I had also expressed that I love glasses on them, also. When Michael heard that, she questioningly pointed at (one whose name I won't mention) sitting near us.

That was almost TOO wrong. I should have been more specific. Apparently, our hilarious disagreement caught his attention and he wanted to know what was going on. I had to tell a white lie to not be harsh on him.

In case you are wondering, he's not quite the looker, and he's extremely annoying, although he is, at times, quite friendly. But, of course, he has semi-long hair and glasses.

I also had to point out that my top priority is intelligence.

Anyway, that was quite funny.

FOURTH PERIOD....where I have no class until October. I went to the cafeteria to eat the bento I hadn't touched during lunchtime, and for the rest of the period, I spent by listening to music and staring out of the window from the third floor.

That's when a new song that I downloaded onto my mp3 player caught my attention...which is listed as my Current Music. I think I am going to edit and dance to this song for the festival, although it's Indian, not Arabic.

I do not feel as if I am exaggerating by saying that the period lasted FOREVER. We only have four classes a day, so each period is quite long.

So, when the bell (finally) rang, I went in search of Reimi. Ended up meeting with Chanel and Kiich outside. We chatted about the October festival and whatnot....and Kiich wants me to make ROTI for the festival. I do not know how thats going to work...but I love my roti, and I need the practice...so I'll try.

And we stood, and talked, and stood, and talked...and Reimi was nowhere to be found. I had decided that she might have left already without me, although she never did anything like that before.

So, after a while, and very hesitantly, I left.

I walked with Sarah until we reached Sagami-Ono station, where I branched off to enjoy my freedom of not being stuck with a sister. I noticed a Tower records in one of the buildings, and decided to check it out. On the way there, I stopped at a store, where I browsed the hair-accessories sections. A basket with various-coloured hair ties with jeweled flowers with little roses in the middle caught my attention, and I picked two purple ones.

I took them, went to the cashier, and asked the price.

"The both of them are one hundred-yen each," as a rough translation of what he said.

It was then I realized that there were about fifty-million signs around me saying, "100-yen shop".

My mind has been elsewhere these days.

Anyway, I found that I bit dearing, but I liked them enough to buy them, anyway. I stopped at the Tower Records, saw nothing interesting, and went on my way.

So, when I reached the apartment buildings, hoping Reimi was home, a buzzed the apartment. No one answered. Was Reimi at work?

So, I sat and waited. Normally, you cannot gain access into the apartment building unless someone buzzes you up, you have a key to open the main door, or you follow someone else in when they open the door. If no one was there to buzz me in, obviously, no one was home. So, I sat outside and waited.

After a bit, I decided to go to the nearby convenience store and buy some Inari sushi. I sat and ate. It was already quite dark.

Got thirsty after a while of waiting, so i went to a nearby vending machine and got a small beverage.

About an hour later, I recognized an exhausted, sweaty Reimi rushing towards the apartment building. So, she reached after I did.

"I was looking for you," she panted in english.

And she apologized to me multiple times, which I found rather strange.

So, when we got inside, I decided to fix her a glass of ice-water as she cleared up a few things on the phone. My heart lifted when she graciously accepted the glass and smiled.

I don't think anyone understand how happy it makes me feel to see her smile at me.

So, when she asked if I'd like to order pizza because she felt for it, although I wasn't very hungry due to the inari sushi I ate earlier, I told her to go on ahead to order it.  I'd have some if she did.

So, Yosh-chan came home, and we all had pizza.

And for the rest of the night, Reimi was in a generally happy mood...and so, I was feeling quite happy myself.

In other news, w00t. Just, w00t.
