TORNAAADDDOOOOOOOO!!



Hello. Contrary to popular belief, I am still alive. I was flooded with phone calls and IMs asking me if I was blown away from the tornado. Thanks for your concern. ^_^...But I am still here. XD


Still, though. A tornado in Atlanta? That was random. O.o

...And scary... The night before, I was huddled in my blanket not being able to sleep due to the scary storm outside of my window. ;_; ...Not to mention driving through a flood and hailstorm with rainsheets so large...I could not tell whether I was actually on the road or not. O.O


Anyhoo, quick summary of the happenings:


...My grandfather perished on Monday. I never was able to attend the funeral. ;_;


...So I went to Athens instead! O.o This weekend was Momocon, and also the weekend of Ansuya coming to Athens...After learning that Ansuya of the BellyDance Superstars was in town, I HAD to go. It was a long drive...and the gas prices are TERRIBLE...but it was all worth it. Thanks to much help from Ka Tala, I was able to enjoy not only the performance, but her Sunday workshop as well. Damn price raises!

Apparently the reason why my journal dates are advanced is due to the fact that I am still isted as living in Japan.

But yes, it is still Sunday, December 31st, and I am getting ready for my New Year's Even performance.

Asha and I will be going to go get some dance costumes. I have an Indian gig tonight and I've already started to alter my lengha, so they won't be in use for tonight.

Since that is so, I won't be able to write my annual year-end entry tonight. I probably will have to do that tomorrow.
