Miss Rose goes shopping.
So, we went shopping today. I was quite happy when Reimi invited me to go shopping with her...but then again, by the way she said it, I didn't think Yosh-chan was coming with us. Can't complain, though. She drove. I did want Reimi and I to go together alone, though...so we could do some more bonding.
Saw a band play at the park near the shopping center. Seems as though they are coming to our school for the upcoming festival.
Also seems that Yosh-chan is part of the staff for the school festival.
At our first stop, since I had long ago expressed to Reimi that I wanted to buy a planner, we stopped at the stationary section of the the 6th floor store...and to my surprise...
There were two enormous tables filled with planners of different colours, designs and sizes. And apparently, thiss was only the ares for planners beginning from October and September 2005.
However, almost all of them were just to cute for my taste. The lot of them had designs of Disney characters, Hello Kitty, and such other little typically Japanese cute characters. I couldn't find on that suited me. It took me quite a long time of looking before I came across a purple one with a caricature of some weird looking cats on it, starting from October 2005. Since I love purple and cats, I thought about it, until i came across another planner that had a picture of boiled eggs, one with a smiley face drawn upon it. When I noticed that the picture could be removed, I immediately purchased that one.
So, since this was the stationary section, I also purchased two pieces of decorative black paper that I would cut down to size to fit the planner, and I plan to put a design of my own on it.
I also couldn't resist buying two cards from the card section. I remembered that my grandmother's birthday just passed, so I purchased a nice little Japanese card with a mini fan and lace on it. I also picked one up for my mother, even though her birthday is in December...It was a card shaped like a grape with a pocket...and inside the pocket was a grape-shaped thin card that when submerged in water becomes a sponge. Sponge Card! I thought my mother would love it, so I bought it. Anyway, this shopping center was quite far from where we live, so I didn't expect to come back anytime soon, anyway.
Bought an azuki sandwich for lunch today!
Oh yes, it rained/drizzled most of the day today. Bleh.
Anyway, That's it for now.
